File with extension 17

Hi everyone.
I have one problem.

How can I create file with extension 17?
Because I trying to change DutyFree Shop (DF Shop).

Files with ext. 17 are in red rectangle.

If I change picture in DF Shop, file with same name and extension 17 will have about 100 B and I will not see the picture in the game. Why? example in green rectangle.

edit: I used GLJ and GLI packer and unpacker for extracting GLI files from Airline Tycoon.

The Problem is, on my PC the Javapacker don´t work and i can´t help you, but when i can i would help you!

And the other problem is that many people are missing here in the Forum, because they are too shocked by Airline Tycoon 2! Maybe anyone can help you, but i can´t!

Btw, I've extracted city.csv from Airline Tycoon Deluxe (for you Fisico9798).
Can someone tell me how can I say in german "Extracted file city.csv"

I don't know what extension 17 is. In that archive is 4 files.
2 .17 and 2 bitmaps
And abend.zip is for example for extension 17 (in archive)

The only possibility that I know of is to get a .17 file with hex editor! Here is an example, you open with the hex editor, the bitmap file and saves the file with.17 under the name of the image

I hope you can understand it if there is still asking question calmly. Hope the mod you enjoy it the way it is now already Version 2

if you couldnt solve that problem until now: You have to save the picture as *.bmp file in your Picture program. Afterwards you have to rename it like "example.17" or whatever. Thats the magic .
