This list of airports is much better than the previous idea with only twenty countries. Good to see that B-Alive are willing to change their mind if their see that their ideas are not good in the end.

One thing i note with the list of selected and pending airports is that you've completely missed one major. I think that Tel Aviv should be in the game but it isn't even possible to vote for that one. So I’ll vote for it here instead.

My vote went for the following ten airports:
1. Santiago de Chile Latin America deserves at least one more airport and Santiago are probably the best alternative. It should really be included to give more importance to Latin America.
2. Tehran: Major Asian airport with many routes to European cities.
3. Warsaw: Poland should be included in the game.
4. Addis Ababa: One of the larger in Africa and East Africa doesn't really have any airports in the game.
5. Oslo: Maybe it's because I’m Scandinavian but it would be sad to not have it included. An interesting fact is that the domestic route Oslo - Bergen is the seventh busiest route in Europe.
6. San Francisco: A major American hub for both domestic and Asian traffic. It’s also a lovely city.
7. Algiers: Major city in northern Africa which should have some connections to European cities.
8. Budapest: I don't know why but i somehow think that this city should be included. Underrated.
9. Kuala Lumpur: Big city with strong international ties.
10. Manila: Last minute switch from Seattle. It’s isolated and a major Asian city. I would trade it for Tel Aviv though.

Unfortunately I was only able to vote for three of them but if 70 airports out of 80 are already chosen that means that ten from that list should be picked in the end.

Unfortunately this still leaves some big cities and airports out of the game and i hope we can get 25-50 more airports through an expansion later. In Europe we have cities like Brussels, the capital of the European Union, excluded but also Belgrade, Bucharest, Helsinki, Krakow, Manchester and Prague. Tallinn and Riga would be nice in an expansion too. If we look international I can see that Doha isn’t included as well and several of the cities that didn't make my top-10 would also be nice. Bogota, Hanoi, Havana, Perth and Tunis are the most important of those that didn't make top-10. Seattle was excluded from my list because of it being too close to Vancouver and that i prefer to have San Francisco as one extra airport on the American west coast. It would probably be too much with both of them. But it should definitely be included in an expansion. Beirut, Dar Es Salaam and Taipei are also missing. Darwin, for it's geographical position, should be an alternative later too. Latin America are the continent that seems to be most underrated in the list of selected airports at the moment and maybe that's right too. With only 80 airports there aren't really that many large and important ones in the Americas expect for Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. If the number is expanded later there should be some extra in South America but especially in Central America. I don't know if Salvador are the best example there but it would certainly be good to have at least one non-Mexican Central American airport. Panama City or San José maybe?

I would also like to know the reasons for why Pittsburgh and Venice made the list? I don't have anything against those cities, Venice is beautiful, but surely there are many other cities in the world that deserves to be included instead? I would definitely trade those two for Tel Aviv and Prague.

Why are Medina chosen over Riyadh? Do B-Alive plan to make a scenario with the pilgrims?

Another idea i have for an expansion, maybe it's way too early to talk so much about that but i would love to have hundreds of airports in the game, are charter tourism. Maybe it's mainly Europe but there's a few in the Americas that could pass as charter destinations. Bahamas, Barbados, Crete, Hurghada, Nicosia, Palma de Mallorca, Port of Spain, Santo Domingo and Tenerife are examples of airports fitting into this category. Some of them, primary Nicosia and Santo Domingo, aren't in itself a charter destination but usually the airport which you fly to for access to many charter destinations in the nearby area. Cancun are one airport mainly fitting into this category that are already included.

I think the timing for Tripoli is very bad too. If it weren’t for the war I don’t see how that airport would get as many votes as it does now.

Im all for this game and cant wait for its release but I look at this list of airports confirmed and see 2 aiports from New Zealand (Christchurch and Auckland) and only 1 in Australia (Sydney confirmed and Perth needs to be voted for) how can this be ? I would surely have thought Melbourne would have been chosen ahead of a second New Zealand airport.

I agree with you, Australia should have more than both one or two. But there's also several other countries and regions that are missing important cities. Some major European cities are missing like Brussels, Oslo & Prague (the last two can be voted for). Africa & Latin America are severly lacking airports. West Africa has only two and East Africa has one plus three which can be voted for but none of them seem win the vote.

I wonder why there's a limit of only 80 airports?
* Game Mechanics?
* Time? If this is the reason, will the community be able to add their own airports with an editor?
* Planned expansion? Do B-Alive already have plans to release expansions to the game with more airports? When then?

Seems like the poll are closed now and the winners are:
Santiago de Chile
Hurghada
Tripolis
San Francisco
Seattle
Budapest
Oslo
Teneriffa
Perth
Havanna
Kabul

Most of them seems like good choices. Don't think that Tripolis would have been choosen if it weren't for the ongoing civil war, minor city and minor airport. The choice of Kabul before Tehran are weird too. Hopefully they will add plenty of new airports very soon after release. I think that there's too few now. Many major cities and airports that are not included in the game. :(

The inclusion of Hurghada and Tenerife also raises the question if certain destinations will have themes? Those two destinations are purely charter tourism so you wouldn't really see any businessmen or any business class/first class passengers to those destinations.
